Procedures for courses
There are different registration and recognition procedures and deadlines depending on the doctoral training programme you belong to and the course type:
The old doctoral training structure (ending in 2011-2012)
The new programme of study (launched in 2010-2011)
Registration and recognition proceduresFunding for courses
According to the new structure of the doctoral training programme, funding can be requested for courses, not organized by the Doctoral Schools, as part of the minimum set of activities of your doctoral training programme.
Advance payment of the course fee and possibly related costs is required (by you as a doctoral student, or by your promoter or department on a D or E account). In order to reclaim the costs from your Doctoral School, you need a piece of proof attesting your participation or pass mark.
Each Doctoral School determines what types of expenses are reimbursable (coming soon):
- Arts, Humanities and Law
- Social and Behavioural Sciences
- Natural Sciences
- Life Sciences and Medicine
