Symposium of the Scientific Committee (FAVV) about food safety and security of plant products

(16-01-2024) On Friday 8/12/2023 the Symposium of the Scientific Committee (FAVV) about food safety and security of plant products was held.

 

Sofie Schryvers and Liesbeth jaxcksens gave an interesting talk on the food safety aspects of the protein transition. This was demonstrated with a case study on the chemical food safety risks of lupins, an interesting plant-based protein sources which is becoming more and more popular in Belgian diets.
