The Battle is over - Tessa Tuytschaever wins Science Battle 2024!

PhD student Tessa Tuytschaever  (3rd from the left) convincingly wins the Science Battle 2024 ‘Healthy fries for everyone!’

She overwhelmed an audience of 4500 young but very critical children with an interactive presentation.

We also congratulate Fatima Taghlaoui  (2nd from the left) as a finalist. She gave a tasty presentation on the processing of strawberries into puree.

We are ready to welcome the young audience to our faculty within a few years to study and do research in the interesting world of food and nutrition.
