iWISE - Introduction Week for International Students in Engineering iWISE 1st sem '25-'26
For whom?
All new international exchange students who start their stay at the faculty in academic year of 2025-2026
What?
The aim and goals of the iWISE are very clear: to prepare the international engineering students as good as possible to:
- start their studies at our Faculty
(meeting the program chair [for degree students], getting explanation about the curriculum, getting familiar with the e-Learning environment Ufora and other ICT tools, study efficiency/assistance ...) - get to know the rules and habits of Ghent/Flanders/Belgium
(crash course Dutch, culture shock, mobility and transport, waste disposal, the city and its university campuses/services) - get to know their fellow students
(fun activity)
