Basak about her experience at the FEB
I choose to study at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration because I wanted to broaden my knowledge in a different perspective and studying marketing after logistics management helped me to look and solve the problems from a wider angle.
I would describe my study experience at the faculty and my time in Ghent as continuously learning process and experience. Since I was a foreign student, I was experiencing new ways of learning and new culture and at the same time. This has been a process for me to see myself that I can quickly adapt in different circumstances.
I learned understanding customer’s need, behaviour and how to fulfil their needs. This helped me for my current position from various directions especially when I struggle to understand future demand of customers.
Having a master degree at Ghent University helped me to find a very good job in a worldwide company in Belgium. I would like to say to future students who decide to study at Ghent University that having a degree at Ghent University will add you value more than you count now.
