Ghent University signs a Memorandum of Understanding with the Bolashak Center for International Programmes (Kazakhstan)
(15-12-2023) The Bolashak International Scholarship program, provided by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, enables high-achieving Kazakh students to pursue undergraduate, postgraduate, and research studies at top universities.
Ghent University and the Bolashak Center for International Programmes (Kazakhstan) formalized their collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Understanding on November 30th, 2023. The signing took place at the 'Strategic and Partnership Cooperation Forum' held in Astana, with the presence of the Belgian Ambassador to Kazakhstan, His Excellency Henri Vantieghem. This agreement designates Ghent University as one of the key partners, prioritized to welcome talented Kazakh students into its degree and PhD programs.
The Bolashak International Scholarship program, provided by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, enables high-achieving Kazakh students to pursue undergraduate, postgraduate, and research studies at top universities around the world.
Moreover, the program extends opportunities for research internships to scholars in Kazakhstan in the framework of the flagship programme ‘500 scientists’, providing them the chance to conduct research at partner universities for durations ranging from 3 to 12 months.
