Comics

The Faculty Library of Arts and Philosophy has a considerable collection of comics. It consists of four comic collections that have been transferred since 2018 and span most of the 20th and early 21st centuries:

• The Alain Van Passen collection: 2018 – comic magazines
• The Emiel (Emil) Laga collection: 2020 – American newspaper comics
• The René Follet collection: 2020 – clippings for reference in the creation of comic strips
• The Georges Dumbruch collection: 2024 – small-format comic strips

The Faculty Library is committed to preserving and making these collections accessible and supports researchers in working with these comics.
