Lucas Dieleman

Excited to translate academic knowledge into practical solutions, Lucas Dieleman has joined imec-mict-UGent as an intern in March. Lucas is currently pursuing his Master's degree in New Media & Society at the University of Ghent. Throughout his internship, Lucas is engaged in two projects: Comon and CityTRAQ.

In his involvement with Comon, Lucas contributes primarily to refining the methodology of prototyping and co-creation during the ideation phase of the Comon project. Additionally, he conducts a critical analysis of this phase, aiming to identify areas for enhancement or alternative approaches for execution.

In his role within CityTRAQ, Lucas is tasked with supporting research during the preliminary phase. This includes conducting an exhaustive review of existing visualizations of air quality and outlining the prerequisites for novel digital solutions within the framework of a traffic-free school street. Subsequently, Lucas aids in shaping that solution.

Lucas is eager to tackle the challenges he faces with both Comon and CityTRAQ, and aims to enrich his competencies in preparation for his future career.
