Bert Verhulst obtained his Bachelor’s degree in socio- educational care work at the (AP) University of Applied Sciences and Arts Antwerp in 2018,  and his master’s degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology at the Catholic University of Leuven in 2021. In his master thesis he analyzed the relationship between humans and face masks during the covid-19 pandemic by conducting in-depth interviews and participatory observations. Since October 2021 he is working on his PhD within the Department of Communication Sciences at Ghent University concerning the presence of life coaching as a new cultural phenomenon in a digital society.
