Wout Vermeir holds a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences (2024), obtained at Ghent University.
During his internship, he already worked at imec-mict-UGent, where he collaborated on the 'Disconnect to Reconnect' project.
Currently he is part of the Knowledge Centre Data & Society, where he studies the barriers and challenges organisations and companies experience when introducing AI into their operations. He contributes to the design of a self-monitoring tool regarding artificial intelligence literacy and maturity.
