Fuzzy front end of innovation

Ellen De Vos holds a master’s degree in Product Design (UAntwerpen) and New Media Art (Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Ghent) and has a background in trend and youth research. She wants the next generation (designers) to actively build preferable futures, based on shared knowledge and own critical insights. Her PhD is about “Understanding the meaning of design in collaborative future scenarios building” in which she researches how critical design concepts can act as meaningful boundary objects in a collaborative debate about current and future problems or solutions. Ellen teaches Industrial Design Engineer students at Ghent University Campus Kortrijk.
