Vacancies ERC project ECOLENT

(29-01-2026) ERC starting grant project ECOLENT on late medieval ecology and biodiversity is recruiting pre- and postdoctoral collaborators

The Department of History at Ghent University (Henri Pirenne Institute for Medieval Studies) has published the vacancies for the ECOLENT project, the ERC-funded Starting Grant project 'Ecological Entanglements and Biodiversity in Late Medieval Northern Europe, 1400-1600', led by PI dr. Sander Govaerts. The project is looking for a postdoctoral researcher (one year, fulltime) and a doctoral fellow (1 + 3 years after positive evaluation, fulltime). The application deadline for both vacancies is 31 March 2026.
