Pseudonimisation of qualitative data

21 april 2026 | 10:30

Qualitative data is rich and often highly identifiable. Protecting participants while preserving analytical depth requires more than replacing names. This seminar introduces structured approaches to pseudonymization in qualitative research.

Participants will learn how to identify direct and indirect identifiers, apply systematic pseudonymization workflows, manage re-identification keys securely, and document changes in line with GDPR and ethical requirements. The session clarifies common misconceptions and supports informed, proportionate decisions when preparing qualitative data for storage, collaboration, or sharing.
