Whisper audio transcription
24 March 2026 | 10:30
Are you working with interviews, focus groups, or other spoken data in your research? This info session introduces Whisper AI, a tool that can automatically transcribe audio recordings with accuracy even in multiple languages or with background noise. Best of all, it’s now available through the UGent High Performance Computing (HPC) environment, which means it can handle large batches of audio quickly and efficiently, all in a GDPR-compliant environment that ensures your research data stays secure and private.
No technical knowledge is required for the session, we'll walk you through what Whisper AI is, how it can fit into your workflow, and how to get started using it through the university’s HPC environment.
