Introduction to the Data Management Plan

In this introductory session you will see what a DMP is, when you need to write your DMP, and how to address the DMP questions. If time permits, this session will also involve a writing exercise. Therefore this session is especially aimed at new researchers. Of course, everyone is welcome.

Whisper audio transcription

This info session introduces Whisper AI, a tool that can automatically transcribe audio recordings with accuracy even in multiple languages or with background noise. Best of all, it’s now available through the UGent High Performance Computing (HPC) environment, which means it can handle large batches of audio quickly and efficiently, all in a GDPR-compliant environment that ensures your research data stays secure and private.
No technical knowledge is required for the session, we'll walk you through what Whisper AI is, how it can fit into your workflow, and how to get started using it through the university’s HPC environment.
