Who
You can register as visiting student when you have enrolled at a University of University College in Belgium (Flemish or French Community) and one of the following types of visiting student applies to your situation.

Type 1: Course unit in framework of doctorate/doctoral training programme
You are enrolled for the doctorate/doctoral training programme at a university of the Flemish or French Community.

Type 2: Elective course in framework of diploma contract
You have a diploma contract at a university of the Flemish or French Community.

Type 3: Course unit in framework of interuniversity programme
You are enrolled for an interuniversity programme .
In the framework of that enrolment you want to take up (a) course unit(s) at UGent. Read more
Type 4: Course unit in framework of specific partnership agreement
You have a diploma contract at your home institution and there is a specific partnership agreement concerning certain UGent course units.

Type 5: Master dissertation in framework of partnership agreement
In the framework of a partnership agreement with your university or university college you wish to work on your master dissertation . Read more
Type 6: Electieve course in framework of AUGent mobility
You are enrolled for a study programme at a university college in the 'Associatie UGent - AUGent' (Howest, University College West Flanders; University College Ghent or University College Arteveldehogeschool).
