CJS member Maxine De Wulf Helskens publishes opinion piece in De Standaard

On Tuesday, July 4,  CJS-member Maxine De Wulf Helskens published an opinion piece in the newspaper De Standaard. Her article is a reaction to an opinion piece by François Levrau (UAntwerpen) in which he stated that women bathing topless in public swimming pools is in violation with decorum. She examines his statement by drawing on male gaze theory to challenge the structural sexualization of women. You can read the full article here.
