New article published on non-American fictional representations of journalism

On January 24, CJS-member Maxine De Wulf Helskens published a new academic article on the representation of journalism in non-American fiction series. She collaborated with professor Karen Arriaza Ibarra of Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Spain) to analyze which narratives on journalism are dissemintated by the Danish fiction series Borgen and the Spanish fiction series El Caso: Crónica de sucesos. In their article they discuss how both series engage with different journalistic practices contextualized in the specific historical, political, and societal context of their respective countries and times.
