Dr. Maarten Crivits
Maarten Crivits is working at the CDO since 2006. Between 2012 and 2025 he also worked at the Flemish Institute for Agriculture and Fisheries, department Social sciences. After his studies in philosophy he increasingly grew interested in connecting philosophical-conceptual approaches with concrete, applied sustainability research. This led to research and application of amongst other discourse analysis, scenario thinking, utopian studies, pratice approach and institutional analysis to themes such as consumption, the food system and energy.
