Dr. Moniek de Jong
Moniek de Jong is a researcher at the Ghent Institute of International and European Studies. She holds a PhD in Political Science which she obtained in 2022. Her PhD research focused on the topic on the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline project.
Her research interest includes energy policy, more specifically the geopolitics of natural gas, and the effect of decarbonization on energy security.
