Albulena Uka

Albulena Uka is a PhD researcher. She has obtained a bachelor of laws at the University of Mitrovica in Kosovo and continued the LL.M. in International and European Law at Ghent University as a scholarship holder where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Albulena currently works as a Senior Legal Officer in the Government of Kosovo and she is crucially engaged in the upcoming justice reforms in Kosovo. She has also experience in the Constitutional Court, Basic Court, Ministry of European Integration and Ministry of Health in Kosovo. Moreover, she has a remarkable background partaking in various prestigious conferences and congresses such as the one organised by Harvard University and got honoured with awards for her outstanding performance. She also chaired different committees of different conferences around the globe and became part of the organizing teams of such conferences too.

Albulena's research interests focus on International and European law - the interface between the two, fundamental rights, democracy and rule of law.
