Fatima El Kaddouri

Fatima El Kaddouri (11 June 1996, Kortrijk) is a voluntary collaborator at the Ghent European Law Institute. She is a laureate of the 19th edition of the European Bernheim internship. Fatima is a trainee at the Belgian Ministery of Foreign Affairs, Directorate-General European Affairs (September 2021 - February 2022) and at the Permanent Representation of Belgium to the European Union (February-June 2022). 

Fatima holds a Master of Laws (Ghent University, 2019, magna cum laude) and a Master in EU-Studies (Ghent University, 2021, summa cum laude). Her master dissertation ‘Two worlds intertwined: politics and law. How do ECJ rulings find their way into EU-legislation?’ was awarded the Marthe Versichelen prize 2020-2021.
