Femke Gremmelprez

Femke Gremmelprez (6 August, 1991, Halle) is voluntary collaborator at the Ghent European Law Institute. She also works as policy assistant at the European Commission (DG JUST, Unit C.2).
Before that she was academic assistant and researcher at the department of European, public and international law (2015-2021). Before starting her career as an academic assistant, she obtained a Master’s degree in Law (Ghent University, 2014, Cum Laude) and an LLM in European Union Law (Ghent University, 2015, Magna Cum Laude).
Femke’s research interests encompass in particular the enforcement of the values of the European Union and the fundamental rights of the European Union and, more in general, constitutional and substantive law of the European Union.
