Which exchange students?
- Master students (= min. 150 ECTS obtained and enrolled for 30 ECTS in current semester) or PhD students
- who are from a university with whom we have concluded a bilateral exchange agreement. Please check the list before applying.
Can be combined with ...
- master's dissertation exchanges if the period of stay is min. one academic year
- internship exchanges if the period of stay is min. one semester

- students staying one semester: min. 20 ECTS / max. 30 ECTS
- students staying one academic year: min. 40 ECTS / max. 60 ECTS
- students have to select min. 15 ECTS per semester of courses at our Faculty (recognizable by the code starting with "I", see the UGent course catalogue)
- students can select up to 15 ECTS per semester from other faculties, see the UGent course catalogue (English taught courses)
- Please check in the course catalogue the following items: course schedule, language of instruction, initial competences and semester.
How to find courses
IMPORTANT! Make sure you are looking at the Course Catalogue of academic year 2020-2021!

- The new course schedules will also be available from July 1st 2020. Please note that the current course schedule will not be valid for academic year 2020-2021.
- You will be able to fill in your curriculum in exchange via Oasis upon arrival in Ghent.
