Young ZAP platform
The Young ZAP group of the Faculty of Bioscience Engineering was founded in 2016 as an open group for all research fields, on a voluntary basis with free membership. Each newly appointed professor (tenure track, BOF-ZAP, ERC, ...) of the faculty is invited to become a member.
Why?
We unite all newly appointed professors at the Faculty of Bioscience Engineering to
- Learn from each other;
- Communicate about science;
- Increase the visibility and voice of newly appointed professors at the FBE.
How?
We usually have 3-5 informal 60'-meetings per year often followed by a social activity. These meetings are organized by Prof. Pieter De Frenne as acting chair.
