Welcome Days
We recommend you to arrive in Ghent in time so you can participate in the UGent Welcome Days and our Faculty Welcome Session.
Keep in mind that attendance for the Faculty Welcome is mandatory.

Onboarding - Thursday 21 September 2023
- Have you never been in Gent before and have no clue about our habits? Gentians love recycling, bicycles and singing the song 'Mia'.
- Learn everything about it in the practical info sessions about culture shock, Fietsambassade, University Language Center, waste disposal, feeling good at UGent, etc.
- Location: Campus Dunant - Auditorium 2 - 13h15 until 16h45 (Henri Dunantlaan 2, 9000 Gent)
Faculty Welcome Session for incoming exchange students - Friday 22 September 2023
- Info session + welcome lunch
- Receive your student card and get your arrival certificate signed at our open office (during the welcome lunch)
- Location: Campus Tweekerken - follow indoor signs - start 11h30 sharp (Tweekerkenstraat 2, 9000 Gent)
