Welcome Days

We recommend you to arrive in Ghent in time so you can participate in the UGent Welcome Days and our Faculty Welcome Session.

Keep in mind that attendance for the Faculty Welcome is mandatory.

UGent Welcome Day - Thursday 18 Septembre 2025

Connect with fellow international students, meet Team International Support and other UGent services, grab your free tote bag, and get a real feel for university life at UGent.
Walk in between 10am and 5pm
Location: UFO building - Sint-Pietersnieuwstraat 33 - 9000 Gent

Faculty Welcome Session for incoming exchange students - Friday 19 Septembre 2025

Info session + welcome lunch
Receive your student card and get your arrival certificate signed at our open office (during the welcome lunch)
Attendance = mandatory
Location: Campus Tweekerken - follow indoor signs - start 11h30 sharp (Tweekerkenstraat 2, 9000 Gent)
