Ranking

Over the last years, the Archaeology programme at Ghent University is consequently ranked in the worldwide top 100. In 2018, the QS World University Rankings awarded our department a very nice 43rd place. We recognise the reality of rankings but do not deliberately strive for high ranking positions. A good position is the result of an internal focus on quality and excellence.
