Loveling reading room
The Loveling reading room is dedicated to consulting library materials that cannot be borrowed, such as journals, certain interlibrary loans, some books from the course reserves and items from the special collections.
By keeping this space separate from our study areas, we provide a quiet place where you can work directly with these materials. After all, the library is more than just a place to study!
The reading room also has a few computers that you can use in case you do not have a laptop with you. One of these computers provides access to the Japanese National Diet Library Digital Collections. This unique database contains digitized Japanese publications and is only available at a limited number of institutions in the world.
Would you like to use this database? Please ask the librarian at the circulation desk for access.
