In collaboration with AquaFlanders and Vlakwa, CJS researchers Verolien, and Estefanya launched the Great Water survey with the purpose of understanding perceptions around water consumption in Flanders 2022. Their press release revealed that risk perception of water being or becoming scarce is not homogeneous in Flanders. Moreover, individuals that perceive water to be scarce and to become scarce have higher intentions to conserve water in their daily life and are more interested to get advice on sustainable water usage (this compared to individuals that perceive a lower risk of water running scarce).
