The current project focuses on investigating factors influencing the adoption and implementation of heat pumps by heating installers for homeowners. The three main objectives include increasing the adoption of heat pumps by installers who currently exclusively install fossil heating systems. Additionally, there is an ambition to support and facilitate the current behavior of heat pump installers, with an emphasis on avoiding confusing communication in the early stages of the purchasing process to strengthen the trust of homeowners. A third objective involves developing a unifying narrative that brings the sector together and emphasizes sustainable energy transition.
