Dr. Elke Verhaeghe
Elke Verhaeghe was a doctoral research fellow with the Flanders Research Foundation (FWO), affiliated with Ghent University and the United Nations University on Comparative Regional Integration Studies (UNU-CRIS). She researches the European Union’s actions against global deforestation, with a specific focus on the Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade (FLEGT) Voluntary Partnership Agreements (VPAs). Geographical areas of interest are Vietnam and Honduras.
