Plechtige Proclamatie op zondag 4 oktober 2026

Beste promovendi 

De Plechtige Proclamatie 2025-2026 vindt plaats op zondag 4 oktober 2026 in het UFO, Sint Pietersnieuwstraat 33, 9000 Gent.

Er zijn twee sessies, één in de voormiddag, één in de namiddag, telkens gevolgd door een receptie. 

• voormiddagsessie: van 9u30 tot 11u30, gevolgd door een receptie tot 13u00:
  Wiskunde - Informatica - Fysica en Sterrenkunde - Physics and Astronomy - Chemistry - Geografie en Geomatica - Geologie - Geology - Sustainable Land Management - Statistical Data Analysis - Space Studies
  (en gerelateerde educatieve masters en doctoraten)
• namiddagsessie: van 14u00 tot 16u00, gevolgd door een receptie tot 17u30:
  Biology - Biochemistry and Biotechnology - Bioinformatics - Plant Biotechnology - Nematology - Marine Biological Resources - Marine and Lacustrine Science and Management
  (en gerelateerde educatieve masters en doctoraten)

De promovendi mogen vergezeld worden door 3 personen. 

Inschrijven is verplicht. Schrijf a.u.b. in tegen TEN LAATSTE 21 september 2026 om 12u00.

Graduation Ceremony on Sunday October 4, 2026

Dear promovendi,

The Graduation Ceremony 2025-2026 will take place on Sunday October 4, 2026 in the UFO, Sint Pietersnieuwstraat 33, 9000 Ghent.

There are two sessions, one in the morning, one in the afternoon, both are followed by a reception. 

• morning session: from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. followed by a reception until 1:00 p.m.:
  Wiskunde - Informatica - Fysica en Sterrenkunde - Physics and Astronomy - Chemistry - Geografie en Geomatica - Geologie - Geology - Sustainable Land Management - Statistical Data Analysis - Space Studies

• afternoon session: from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., followed by a reception until 5:30 p.m.:
  Biology - Biochemistry and Biotechnology - Bioinformatics - Plant Biotechnology - Nematology - Marine Biological Resources - Marine and Lacustrine Science and Management
  (and related MSc in Teaching and PhD's)
  

The graduates may be accompanied by 3 guests.

Registration is mandatory. Please register AT THE LATEST by 21 September 2026 at noon:

Speel mee met orkest Continuo op je eigen proclamatie / Play along with orchestra Continuo at your own graduation

Continuo, het alumni- en personeelsorkest van de UGent, verzorgt de muzikale omlijsting van jullie proclamatie. Aangezien dit een orkest van en voor alumni is, geven we jullie graag de kans om op jullie eigen proclamatie mee te spelen met het ensemble. Speel je een (symfonisch) instrument en wil je graag samen met muzikanten uit onze rangen een intermezzo spelen op jullie proclamatie, mail dan vóór 31 augustus naar zyncke@continuo-ugent.be, met in cc decanaat.we@ugent.be. Op basis van de bezetting stellen wij dan een programma samen. Er zullen 2 repetities zijn.

Continuo, the alumni and staff orchestra of Ghent University, will perform at your graduation ceremony. Since this is an orchestra of and for alumni, we would like to give you the opportunity to play along with the ensemble on your own graduation ceremony. If you play a (symphonic) instrument and would like to play an intermezzo together with the musicians, please send an email before 31 August to zyncke@continuo-ugent.be, with cc decanaat.we@ugent.be. We then put together a program based on the occupation. There will be 2 rehearsals.
