Student Counselling for Senior Students

Even after the first year of the standard learning track (BA1), you can still come to student counselling.

  • Did you find a good study method, but do you feel that certain things are not working out?
  • Do you just not succeed in setting up a schedule that allows you to process and study courses, write papers and still have time for friends, sports and recreation? Attend a 'planning' or 'study planning' workshop with the faculty student counsellor.
  • Do you have trouble writing your bachelor's or master's dissertation? After all, in those academic-level writing tasks, you need to deepen knowledge and skills independently and you can get stuck in that.
  • Did you know that there are different kinds of support for master's dissertation students? An overview (in Dutch).
  • Are there other reasons why your studies are not going smoothly (concentration problems, fear of failure, procrastination, psychosocial problems ...)?
  • Would you like to regain credits of your learning account (in Dutch) due to a COVID-19-related force majeure or other reasons (illness, death in the family, …)
  • Would you like to file an appeal against a refusal to enrol?
  • ...

Together, we will look for a solution.

A link to the university-wide training offer (e.g. studying more efficiently, fear of failure, procrastination, sleeping problems) can be found on the page of the Counselling Office.

Also the information (e.g. the week, semester and exam planner, the brochures 'Efficiënter Studeren, ‘Denk Wijzer!’ and ‘Schrijf Wijzer!’) and announcements on Ufora (‘Monitoraat Letteren en Wijsbegeerte – AX00004’ - in Dutch) deserve your regular attention.

You can also find us on Facebook: Monitoraat Faculteit Letteren en Wijsbegeerte (in Dutch).
