Dr. Thomas Hartwig and Dr. José Manuel Franco Zorrilla will talk about their research in the field of plant gene regulatory networks.

In this mini-symposium we will have two talks from experts in the field of plant gene regulation and gene regulatory networks.

  • Dr. Thomas Hartwig will talk about a first-generation pan-cistrome in plants. He works as a group leader at the Max Planck Institute for Plant Breeding Research in Cologne, Germany.
  • Dr. José M. Franco-Zorrilla will talk about transcriptional regulation and plant adaption to changing environments. He is a group leader at the Spanish National Center for Biotechnology in Madrid, Spain.

Their talks will be followed by a Q&A session where the attendants will be able to interact with the speakers.
