Do you want to work as a refugee at Ghent University and do you have a residence permit that entitles you to work?
Below you will find all the vacancies that we have made available specifically for refugees.
Note: In these vacancies we offer you a temporary job of maximum 6 months through an employment agency (Randstad)
Do you want to continue working for UGent?
If your department wants to keep you on board after 6 months, you will have to participate in a regular selection procedure.
To apply, go to our job opportunities. During the application procedure there will be some specific facilities that you can make use of as a refugee:
- Tests (if part of the selection procedure) can be taken in English or in French. You can also bring an interpreter to the selection interviews should you need one.
- If you have a diploma that was awarded outside the European Union, you will have to have your qualification recognised by NARIC. There is a specific procedure for refugees.
