CJS goes to Etmaal

From February 8 to 9, our CJS members had the pleasure of attending The Etmaal conference in Rotterdam. This event, which focused on Responsible Communication, witnessed an unprecedented surge in participation from NeFCA scholars. Over 420 attendees took part, engaging in 78 sessions across 11 parallel tracks, including two innovative poster session formats. Additionally, three pre-conferences were held on February 7.

The conference took place at the conference center De Doelen, situated in the heart of Rotterdam and was meticulously organized by Erasmus University. Our CJS members made significant contributions, presenting not only in the Journalism division (Stephanie) but also in Persuasive Communication sessions (Barbara, Catho, Elina, Estefanya, and Marylise) and Media Industries sessions (Stijn). Furthermore, several sessions were chaired by our researchers, including Kristin, Sarah, Stijn, and Verolien.

All in all, it was an informative and enjoyable experience!
