Faculteit Farmaceutische Wetenschappen
Geneesmiddelen zijn het centraal thema in het onderwijs en onderzoek aan de faculteit Farmaceutische Wetenschappen (FFW). Onderzoek naar geneesmiddelen is bij uitstek een interdisciplinair gebeuren. Basiswetenschappen zoals chemie en biologie, en gezondheidswetenschappen, worden geïntegreerd beoefend in het geneesmiddelenonderwijs en -onderzoek aan de faculteit.

In the picture: 35th Mycotoxin Workshop
The University College Ghent and Ghent University together with the Society for Mycotoxin Research host the 35th Mycotoxin Workshop, which will be held in Ghent, Belgium from Wednesday May 22nd till Friday May 24th 2013. This Mycotoxin workshop will be organized by the Ghent University Association together with the Society for Mycotoxin Research (www.mycotoxin.be). The workshop aims to bring together experts from academia, government and industry to discuss all aspects of mycotoxin research including human and animal health issues, toxicology, mycotoxin production in relation with food and feed safety, ana-lysis of mycotoxins, legislation and regulatory aspects and others.
