Balance Awareness Week event about Gaze and Gait stability in individuals with neurologic conditions including lectures and workshops.

The event Gaze and gait stability in individuals with neurologic conditions brings together international experts to address the role of vestibular dysfunction in neurological disorders.

While gait rehabilitation and balance training are central components in the treatment of conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, stroke, and multiple sclerosis, vestibular impairments often remain underrecognized in clinical practice.

This one-day activity combines plenary lectures with interactive workshops to explore both underlying mechanisms and practical approaches to assessment and rehabilitation. Participants will gain hands-on experience with innovative methods, including vestibulo-ocular reflex assessment and real-time gait analysis, as well as the use of sensory perturbations in balance training.

The event targets researchers, PhD candidates, and clinicians, and aims to foster knowledge exchange and interdisciplinary collaboration within an international network.
