AI is everywhere. In your feed, in your tools, in the news. But what is it really, and what is it not?
What does it mean for your future job? For the justice system, language or even our brains? And who actually decides what artificial intelligence can and cannot do?
On Wednesday evening, 4 March 2026, Ghent University is organising an accessible public evening event in which researchers from various disciplines will share their views on AI.
Drawing on their own expertise, they will clearly explain how AI works today, where the opportunities lie, what the limitations are and what impact this technology has on our society. No doom scenarios. No blind optimism. Instead, a nuanced and well-founded story that helps you see beyond the hype.
Ghent University is brimming with AI expertise. Discover it, ask your questions and broaden your horizons. Curious? Register here!
