Scientists meet suppliers - lectures - pitches - networking

VZW Ardoyen (the business park association at Campus Ardoyen) is working to reduce the environmental impact of laboratories. The use of solvents in laboratories has a major impact on the sustainability of companies.

That is why we are organizing a matchmaking event on 5 February 2026, where we want to give solvent suppliers a platform to give short pitches (approx. 5 min.) to lab staff, scientists in general, purchasing policy staff, etc. who are active in and around the park:

  • “Our service/product is sustainable because ...”
  • “We distinguish ourselves in ...”

The event consists of three parts:

  • Speaker: Hanes Sels from Karel De Grote Hogeschool, demonstrating their new AI tool: SUSSOL-tool;
  • Pitches from suppliers of sustainable solvents;
  • Networking event: each supplier will have a table in the foyer, where you can talk to them one-on-one.
