Opening hours
The UGent child care initiatives offer child care every working day between 7.30 a.m. and 6.30 p.m.
The opening hours for baby minders could deviate slightly from this, depending on the individual baby minder.
Holidays
Our day care centres are closed on legal holidays and official bank holidays.
The annual closing period coincides with the period of the Gentse Feesten (Ghent Festival) and has a maximum duration of 3 weeks.
The holiday schedule for the day care centres is announced each year during the month of January.

The daycare centers will be closed for 1 day for a training day and close 2 hours earlier 8 times a year in order to pay attention to team meetings. These days will be communicated in time.
