Inclu Thesis Award
Ghent University, in collaboration with the City of Ghent, annually awards a prize for the best and most innovative master’s thesis in which themes of gender, diversity and/or inclusion play a central role.
Role Model Programme
The role model programme allows students to share their personal study experiences with secondary school pupils to inspire them and provide realistic information about higher education.
In this way, it motivates and supports pupils in their study choice and preparation for student life.
Coaching and Diversity
Coaching and Diversity is a support programme in which senior students mentor new students on a social, academic and personal level.
This creates a caring learning environment that focuses on diversity, connectedness and strengthening each other’s talents.
Preparatory Programme for Higher Education
The Preparatory Programme for Higher Education for non-native speakers prepares newcomers with a basic knowledge of Dutch for a Dutch-taught programme at a university or university of applied sciences.
Through language classes, academic study skills, study choice guidance and preparatory course modules, participants strengthen their chances of a successful start in higher education.
