International Summer School 'Ukraine and the challenges of nationhood, individuality and survival' This summer school is aimed at second- and third-year Bachelor students, Masters’ students and starting PhD students.
The purpose of this multi-disciplinary Summer School is to examine different aspects of Ukraine’s society and societal dynamics through in-depth study of four topics: identity, culture and ‘culture wars’; economic-ecological dynamics; the ‘humanitarian frontline’; and formal and informal governance.

Sustainability
The Summer School Climate and Summer School Degrowth are summer schools organised by and for Ghent University students. Sustainability challenges are examined from different angles. The summer schools are extracurricular and take place in the last week of the summer holidays, free of charge.
