Single Permit communication

The single permit communication from the authorities can exists out of several letters, all in Dutch.

Step 1: Complete file

Your file was complete as you may find the first approval document of the Single permit application that we have started for you. .

This first approval flows automatically into the second part of the application: the check if you are allowed to work in Belgium; and the third part; if you are allowed to live in Belgium.

Step 2: Permission to work in Belgium

You may find the approval of the second step of the Single Permit application. Your file was complete and you are already allowed to work in Belgium, however this permit cannot be executed yet.

This approval flows automatically into the third part of the application: the check if you are allowed to live in Belgium.

Step 3: Permission to live in Belgium (Annex 46)

We are pleased to inform you that the Single Permit application was finished!

More documents or information is requested

It is possible that the Belgian authorities request more information or new documents. Please provide these within 15 days time and keep us informed on the process to obtain these documents.

Reason of rejection

This document is the confirmation that the single permit was rejected. If documents or information keep missing, the single permit application will be rejected after a 6 months. This means that, if you still want to come to Belgium – all documents must be renewed to start a new single permit application.
