Dr. Basar Ozbilen (UC Davis) reports on the transatlantic policy on automated mobility and ways to build international collaboration.

Dr. Basar Ozbilen is the Assistant Director of the 3 Revolutions Future Mobility Program at the University of California, Davis. He convenes the Transatlantic Dialogue on Automated Mobility and the Future of Transportation, which brings European and US agencies, planning bodies and operators into a workshop session hosted by Ghent University.

He closes the Clean Mobility and Energy week with a debrief for doctoral candidates: where automated mobility now stands in Europe and the US, and how transatlantic research collaboration is built and can support policymaking at the international level.

Open to doctoral candidates and postdoctoral researchers at Ghent University and their supervisors, and to doctoral candidates from the University of Antwerp, KU Leuven, Vrije Universiteit Brussel and Hasselt University.

Free, and no conference registration is needed. Reserve a place with Alessandro.LaDelfa@ugent.be.
