Note: the individual housing units do not have separate addresses for domicile purposes: a single address is provided for all residents of the building. Enrolment on Migration, Temporal or Foreigners Register is possible through the forms of the Migration Office, but domicile as a single person in the National Register (local enrolment) will not be possible, since all units have the same address.

Who was Henri Pirenne?

The home is named after Henri Pirenne (1862–1935), an influential historian, professor for many years, and rector at Ghent University from 1919 to 1921. Read more on UGentMemory.
