Themed walks on diversity

More than 43,000 students study at Ghent University and more than 10,000 employees work at Ghent University. This results in a rich diversity of philosophies, opinions and convictions. But we have one thing in common. We are all “UGhent-people”. With the Diversity Theme Walks we give the floor to minority groups and we look for what binds us together.

Students or employees act as guides and tell their personal story. You get a unique view of the barriers in our learning, working and research environment from the perspective of an expert by experience. And you will find out how you can be an ally for your fellow student or colleague for whom the study or career path at Ghent University is not always so obvious.
