New payment system to print from July 2025
(28-02-2025) In the month of July, all devices that allow students to print, scan and copy documents at Ghent University will be replaced by new devices. At that time, the e-purse payment system will also be replaced by a new system to pay for prints and copies.
As of July 7, new multifunctionals will be installed with a new payment system. This has consequences for all students who want to print and copy documents via these new devices at Ghent University. You will have to charge money to your student card in a different way. More details about this new payment system will follow in July 2025.
Impact on e-purse
- From July 7, 2025, it will no longer be possible to put money on your student card via the e-purse system.
- Until Sept. 15, 2025, you can arrange for the refund of your e-purse balance.
