Further Training Opportunities for Researchers
Consult the Framework for the Responsible Use of GenAI in Research
In addition to the University-wide Framework for the Responsible Use of AI at Ghent University, mentioned on the main webpage, you must also follow the seven recommendations for responsible (Gen)AI use in research from the Framework for the Responsible Use of GenAI in Research at Ghent University (Dutch only). For more information, Ghent University researchers can also consult the Intranet page “Ethical and responsible (Gen)AI use in research”.

Are you a PhD candidate?
You can certainly consult the above-mentioned training courses via UTOP, but not all PhD candidates have access to this platform. However, you can always make use of the extensive range of training courses offered by the Doctoral Schools!
The Transferable Skills Seminars often cover the use of (Gen)AI tools in the regular courses, and (Gen)AI is therefore incorporated into the content of the existing training courses. You can find more in-depth information about (Gen)AI itself in the Specialist Courses. Are you looking for a training course specifically about (Gen)AI (applications)? Then search for (Gen)AI-related search terms, such as “AI”, “GenAI”, “LLM”, “prompt”, “Deep Learning (DL)”, “Machine Learning (ML)”, etc.
