New payment system for document printing
(02-06-2025) From July 7, 2025, all multifunctionals with a payment terminal will be replaced by new devices. On these new devices, students will have to pay via a new payment system: Ricoh myPrint.
Multifunctionals are publicly available copiers on which students can print and copy documents for a fee. From 7 July 2025, all existing devices with a payment terminal will be replaced by new devices on which students will only be able to pay via the Ricoh myPrint payment system.
Impact on e-purse
- From 7 July 2025, it will no longer be possible to put money on the e-purse payment system because on the new devices you will no longer be able to pay via e-purse.
- Until 14 September 2025, you can request the refund of your balance via https://ugent.mynetpay.be (under "Profile" choose the option "Refund") because from 15 September 2025, e-purse will no longer be used at UGent.

Until 7 July 2025, you can give print commands via Athena and pay with e-purse.
