Suicidality among adolescents in Ethiopia remains a major public health concern, particularly in the post-COVID-19 period. High rates of self-harm, suicidal thoughts, and suicide attempts have been reported.
Factors such as living in non-intact families, higher school grade level, sleep problems, eating and body image concerns, and emotional and behavioral difficulties were linked with an increased risk of suicidality.
